"Normal"

Cheng Wen competes in the U74 Opens category. He debuted four years ago in the first Tertiary Powerlifting Competition 2020. Despite having a turbulant training schedule, he managed to improve consistently and won the best lifter for Open Nationals 2022. He represented Singapore at Asians 2022 at Dubai, IPF 2023 in Malta and Asians 2023 at Johor Bahru.

As a coach, he emphasies autonomous learning through nudging and guidance. He believes in holistic development for athletes on both physical and mental fronts, preferring a dialogical relationship.

Winston has been powerlifting for 6 years and has been coaching athletes for the past 3 years. He is competing in 105kg Opens category and has won 2 National titles in 2023 and 2024. Winston has been nominated to compete in the IPF World Open Classic Powerlifting Championship 2024 in Lithuania.

To him, coaching is a form of self discovery and exploration which never fails to enlighten him every time a new problem is being presented. Being able to listen and make informed decisions based on the data and feedback makes a better coach-athlete relationship.

"Do more."

Nigel is no new face in Singapore's powerlifting scene, having first stood on the platform 5 years ago and actively competing till now. Having no shortage of training and gameday experience, he strives to use the knowledge to uplift fellow powerlifters.

He values heavily on building strong connections and stepping into athlete's shoes to truly understand their needs and aspirations. He treasures the value of helping others and problem-solving to unlocking each lifter's potential, which he finds can be even more rewarding than personal progress.
